Missions Ministry
Goals
-
To win souls to Christ
-
To lead the church in study of the Biblical basis for missions.
-
To involve each Christian (church member) in ministry to the needs of humankind locally, statewide, nationally and globally.
-
To consistently offer opportunity for others to become aware of and involved in missions.
Why Do Missions?
In John 20:21 says, Jesus tells us “As the Father has sent me, even so I send You.” Jesus has commissioned each Christian to continue the work God sent Him to do. Thus, all Christians have the responsibility for sharing the Good News of the Gospel, to be involved as Jesus was in ministry to the needs of others.

Some people brought children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and to pray for them, but the disciples scolded the people. Jesus said, “Let the children come to me and do not stop them, because the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” He places his hands on them and then they went away. Matthew 19:13-15 GNB
